Texas is lucky in a number of ways. The
temperatures typically stay above freezing and the sun is usually seen. Tough days are when the temperatures are frigid, roads freeze and vehicles seem
ill-equipped. A few ways to make sure that you make it through the winter are
to check the car battery often, keep gas in the tank (at least half a tank),
and ensure that the washer fluid is able to withstand freezing temperatures.
Also…just a personal recommendation, once freezing temperatures and road
conditions subside wash your car!
The salt and deicing fluid can do a number on vehicle paint and your ability to see.
